Andalo and the Paganella Plateau

In summer Andalo is the gateway for walks in the woods, while in winter it is a paradise for skiers. The Paganella ski slopes are undoubtedly the greatest attraction for spending your ski and snow holiday. A stone's throw from the town there is also the characteristic lake of Andalo, a small lake of karstic origin, whose surface varies greatly according to the seasons and above all depending on rainfall. If in summer the lake is the destination of romantic walks, in winter it turns into a real cross-country skiing gym: thanks to a modern lighting system the slopes remain open until 9 pm.

Adamello Brenta Natural Park, where you can walk following the tracks of the animals.
Spormaggiore Wildlife Park offers the unique possibility of closely observing two specimens of the brown bear, some specimens of wolf, 3 specimens of eagle owl and a male specimen of wild cat, foxes and lynx. You can also visit the educational farm where you can meet the classic farm animals (goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, peacocks and ponies).

Our territory is dotted with three different protected areas: Adamello Brenta Natural Park, home of the Trentino brown bear, the Paneveggio – Pale Natural Park of San Martino, where you can admire the ungulates closely and be enchanted by the magic of the Pale of San Martino, and Stelvio National Park, among the first natural parks born in Italy.
